I have seen planting rates for wheat, oats, winter rye per pound, but then seed is priced per bushel. How much does a bushel of winter wheat and winter rye weigh???
Welcome to CBN, Sagittarius. This is where you get the benefit of your tax dollars at work, by getting your county extension agent to answer your question. He or she may also give you some 'inside' information for you area.
Those are Genuine Missouri bushels but I think they work pretty well for the other 49 states as well
Do you canadians have to add more weight to things because you're farther from the equator and the pull of gravity is less
Nah- we just like things bigger. That's cause it's gota last through an eight month winter so every little bit extra helps ehh. We got bigger gallons too so we can go lots farther on a gallon of fuel. There be a method behind all this.
