Concrete porch deck

For a new modular house I'm considering a stamped & colored concrete porch deck. Has anyone pursued this in lieu of a standard builup wood deck?

I'm getting ready to build a house with a stamped concrete wrap around porch.

We chose it for looks and durability reasons.

There are so many options for the stampings you can really create something different.

It's not cheap but it'll last a long time with minimal upkeep.........J

Bomac, My research showed that I could buy pretty darned nice tile and have a good reputable tile setter lay it and come out considerably below the cost of colored and stamped concrete to mimic tile or slate.
