I'll be building a house this year and am considering an outdoor wood furnace. I look on the web and find several manufactures making conflicting claims about what to look for. Can those of you who have experience with them let me know what you like / don’t like about the ones you have?
Fellow here at work helped a neighbor install one two years ago. Sorry I don't know the brand. It heats water which is then circulated through an air handler. I guess they all work the same way. He says the guy's happy with it.
I do know that some can handle bigger pieces of wood than others can.
