Bringing home logs

A picture of a Maple log that I was able to get from across the street. The B7100 managed to drag it up a 15 degree slope.

Some more maple logs from across the street. They will be milled at " Egons sawdust factory " by my chainsaw mill.

Is that red maple or hard maple?

Egon,
Can you describe the 3pt tow hitch that you have on your tractor, visible in your log-towing photo? Did you build it or buy it? I've never seen a commercial unit like that. It looks like just the sort of thing that I could use, as I have a number of similar logs that I need to move to my firewood processing area.

If it's not too much trouble, could you post some other photos of it? (Thanks)

I built it. Pretty simple. Neighbour did the welding. I cut the iron. Give a while for pictures as we switched computers and I'll have to find the disk.

Picture of three point hitch.

NOTE: The chain is hooked HIGH to put downward force on the rear tires. I also load the bucket full of rockswhen I pull like this. Seems to work ok. There are many holes drilled on the part where the ball is so one can use a shackle or just hook the grab hook of the chain onto it.

Tain't pretty but it works.

Must be an awful lot of rocks you put in the bucket Egon. You've got that tractor standing on it's head
