Large lawn area and lotsa clover

Interesting !!! In the spring, the clover is just crazy, but not as dominant during summer. One thing I did discover about clover is that it spreads underground during the winter months while everything is dormant.

Part of my front lawn is Zoysia hybrid and they say to cut short 1.5" to 2"... I have noticed that it has gotten pretty dense and only a spot ot two where a trash type grass is trying to make its presence known but it isn't spreading.

Do you think that I shouldn't cut quite so short to help stimulate spreading to choke out the other grasses ?
