    Horse Trailers

Does anyone know where to find the serial number on a horse trailer. I bought an old horse trailer that I fixed up, and now I want to register it. I need to get the serial number, but so far I haven't been able to find it. I suspect it's long gone, but maybe I missed it.

    Thanks for any ideas!!!

I suspect you're right. I would expect to find it on the A-frame or tongue of the trailer, or on a plate or sticker on the left side near the mid to lower front of the trailer "box", and I'll bet you've already looked there.

Thanks, Bird!! Those are the places I expected to find it, but I looked there and everywhere else and couldn't find it.

Oh well, now ifI get it weighed the state will assign it a new serial number. It's just a hassle to take it to a quarry to get it weighed, but I can do that.

I've also weighed in free at a moving company and the highway depts' scales.
