The levers that I am referring to are on the tractor next to the seat that contol the3-point hitch itself.
What you probably have is a "position control" and a "draft control" lever.

This is the info I was looking for. I kinda suspected that was what it was for but it is nice to see it in writing to see what it is supposed to do. Now I can determine whether or not it is operating correctly.
