is it that time already?

noticed today that a couple places across the country have received a little dusting of snow lately. Anyway, I thought it would be interesting to find out who here has seen the white stuff already?
Who's doing what to get ready for the winter months (even you warm climate people)?

What does it look like? I haven't seen that stuff in 8 years! I know what horizontal rain looks like!

Cleaned out the wood stove Friday, just in case the mornings get too chilly.

Cool this morning in East Central OKla. SWMBO is pacing the floor, deciding just when to go out and dig up her tender, frost sensitive plants.

Here in W. PA, no snow in the forecast but frost tomorrow night.
To get ready:
Check the wood stove
Bring all items that'll freeze (paint, cleaners...) from non-heated buildings and bring to basement.
Get the winter coats/boots/gloves out and wash.
Start splitting next winters firewood.
