First snow of winter in South Central Oklahoma

Here is a composite taken this morning during the first snow of the winter. What timing! Winter starts with the winter solstice Dec 21. So that night the temp drops and it snows late night and early morn.

The birds sure ganged up at the feeder this morning.

Looks like winter. Where are the ducks? Two years ago we had 30 or 40 on this pond most of the winter and geese raising families. This year NOTHING.
