Correct way to say it?

Which is correct?
Corns on the cob, corn on the cobs, perhaps corn ons the cob, or even corns ons thes cobs?
(Just a little winter-time diversion as we wait for the ground to be ready for seed again.)

Do not know which is the correct way to say it, however in this part of the country it has always been corn on the cob.

Same here, but what is the plural of a corn on the cob? (I can see this is going to be one of those multiple page threads. Ya, right.)

And look at the related links (advertising) at the top of this page.

No matter which way you say it I'd like several more cobs on my plate.

You are very generous Rob but I prefer to make my own cobs.

Egon prefers to have both brown and white cobs. He uses the white to see if he needs more browns.

It kinda got glossed over but the gator dude was right, again. The volume, number, plurality of consumption of corn on the cob is accounted in ears. Not cobs. Not any sort of pluralization or variation on corn on the cob. Ears is it, friends. Now please pass me a few more ears! Friends, Romans, countrymen... pass me some ears.
