Rose, We nearly had the same experience with all that "clover" that came up in our garden. My wife was about ready to chop some out with a hoe when I pointed out how neatly in rows it just happened to grow. We didn't get a very good yield. 14 miles from here are some really big fields of peanuts every year but they have flat sandy soil which is great for peanuts.
