It's an 8 foot guide built so I can make extensions for it!

Well, my jeans have one of those trendy slash marks on the left leg too. And my boots have a lovely open place which is, strangely enough, immediately above a scar that appears on the top of my foot!

What a coincidence!!! You and I must buy our clothes from the same place!!!

The power of those chain saws really gives one to think.

My Habadasher is the local Goodwill Store.

The jeans have only suffered from kneeling in suplication to " She Who Must Be Obeyed ". Fortunetly no saw encounters. I do have the proper pants and wear them most times.

The boot toes have suffered the same fate as the jeans. That's shiny metal you see where the leather has worn off. Many mechanics wear this type of boot. The boots are just getting comfortable. They are a remanant from the days in which I was employable.

I sawed up some Maple about 2 weeks after it was dropped, stickered it right away with 1 year old stickers, and still got sticker stain lines running accross it, dam.

I had to whip up some picnic tables last weekend and ran out of pine. Table # 3 is only 1/2 done, I think it will end up with a Maple top.

Mabe I'll set it next to the road and some city folk will come by and give me $ 400.00 for it?

After you're in Lexington, NC with Nat, come on down this way (about 30 miles) and visit.

How is the guide attached to the log ? Clamped ?

Do you flip the log to cut the part the chainsaw can't reach ?

    That looks great !
