What's a yard of concrete cost where you are?

I'm planning on building a small shed/barn/outbuilding and am trying to workup a very rough price estimate. I realize prices vary by location, but I'm curious to see how the prices range. I haven't called around here for prices yet. I'm in Maine...

Here in central NC, regular footing mix, 3500 PSI is upper 70's
more for fiber, more for higher, PSI mix.. These are for a minimun 5 yd load. 1 yard will be around 250.00

Roughly the same in south central Oklahoma except 4000PSI is upper 70's.

I paid $54.00/yd for a 10 yd load that they drove 42 miles to deliver.

mysti, You didn't say what mix or admixtures but even for 3000-3500 PSI that is a good price. I am 25 miles from concrete West, South, or North which isn't so bad. I can only get abut 7 yds per truck as the upper limit of gross weight vehicle regulations. They can get a big fine if caught over weight.

Just paid $81/yd total in SW Mo. 5 bag mix, with fiber ($5.00 Yd), 20 mile delivery ($20) and shortload charge ($10) as I only purchased 3 yds. Driver said I was allowed a 1 hr offload time with no extra charge. I needed it in 3 different places.
