I have 35 acres near Bellville, Texas upon which I plan to build our retirement home. Due to a number of circumstances, I have applied for a "wildlife" tax exemption instead of an "agricultural" one. I have two patches of Bermuda grass, each about 3 acres in size, that I'd like to exterminate and replace with native grasses or some other "food plot" plant that would be more beneficial to wildlife. Anyone out there with knowledge of how to go about this task? Thanks.
