    Looking for a sawmill

An aquaintance of mine has several hickory, white oak, poplar, and walnut trees that he needs sawed up. They are 24" to 30", 12' to 20', and dried for almost a year. Now they need cutting. We are in the Louisville Kentucky area. (East of Louisville actually) If anyone knows of a reliable sawyer in this general area, please post with info. Thanks.

    Re: Looking for a sawmill

I guess I have been doing it all wrong... I mill the stuff green as possible and then dry it before ripping and planing. Some wood gets just a bit harder to cut when dry.
