    Might be a silly question about my outdoor faucet

    Hi,

    I turned off the water to my outdoor faucet since it's getting colder and I was told to also release the pressure on the faucet so I turned on the faucet after I turned off the water to let any water out that was sitting in the faucet. My question is...do I leave the faucet on all winter or can I shut it off now? [img]/forums/images/icons/blush.gif[/img]

    I don't know what the "right" way is, but I usually left them open.
