If all you have is a W2 and/or some 1099s, TurboTax is great. I usually can do my personal returns in less than an hour---which is a good thing because I need to do them tomorrow.
I use freedom tax by turbo tax every year. I e-file my federal and state taxes for free. I have never had a problem doing my taxes this way. Turbo tax makes it really easy.
We used turbotax online for free this year for both our state and federal returns. I would never pay someone to do ours though we don't have much to claim.
