I don't know to much about them except they were the row crop version of the 801. They were available with the standard 4 sp, or 5sp or 5sp with live power take off, and the much hated select-o-speed. It came with a 172 cu in 4 cyl engine and was optioned as a diesel. I thought 1962 was the last year of production and the 4000 came out in '63' but may be wrong. Real stout tractor with parts still at the New Holland places. They could also be gotten with a wide front end, but the tricycle was standard. HTH, Nat
