Which movie, Pat? Have you been looking up names on the Internet? I'll admit I sure don't remember, but find on the Internet that Teddy Hart, Stan Ross, and Victor Potell all played Crowbar at different times. Were there others?

Bird, No not using internet for research assistance and I had no clue who played the part of Crowbar. He was the only major character not discussed so I brought him up.

    Classic Eastwood

Good choice but hard to place it above "True Grit."

Favorite movies are sorta hard to define. Probably goes with individuality and culture.

India may possibly have one of the larger movie industries going but we never see their product!

I like "Paint Your Wagon" ,"Doctor Zhivago" and several others from that era but none include "The Duke".

    Re: Our favorite movies!!!!

Egon, There is a fair number of movies made in India available via satellite TV. For the most part I don't care for their style. They have a pretty different idiom for the most part. (Where idiom is used macroscopically in movie making not a regional verbal expression. India does have a large movie industry but it doesn't export well toward the west.

Although the only formal movie making training I have had was geared toward documentaries I nevertheless think on any given weekend with the help of a few friends I could shoot something that would be more interesting to western audiences than the typical Indian flick that I have seen.

A little known Chris Kristofferson movie from HBO called "The Tracker", then Tombstone, and Gone with the Wind. Full Metal Jacket held my interest pretty good too.
