Habor Freight manual log spliter

Does anyone have experience or insight with the Harbor Freight 10-ton manual log splitter? It looks like a nice piece of exercise machine. I wonder if it's any good? I figure I would get some exercise while getting work done at the same time. What do you think? ...or should I just a power log splitter? Thanks for your help.

Been wondering the same thing. Can't afford a real splitter, and my boys could use some exercise anyway...

    Anybody know about these things?

Accepts up to 6.5" diameter logs ?!?

I seldom split anything less than that

Yeah, but I expect that rating is based on CYA. I'm wondering if you could split larger stuff with some effort & patience. Tell them it will split 20" rounds, and even if it DOES, if it takes TOO long, folks will certainly complain. Tell them it's only meant to split 6" rounds and you pull the rug out from under the complaints.

Since I have more time than money (very little time and NO money! ) I'm hoping this would work.
