Egon, just how close to the beach do you live? I used to like visiting my parents on the Texas coast, but there was just one severe drawback to that area and that was the fact that everything rusted faster than most people could imagine. That salt blowing in off the ocean was terrible.
We live about 25 kilometers from the nearest beach. And yes, things do rust quickly.
