How about this 22?
How about this 22?
I've seen those rifles. They are called Crickets and come in many colors. Good if you're teaching a youth.
Not my color though.

Hey! Aren't you supposed to be working?
I'd hold off on the brightly colored gun as next years model comes with an internal multi-colored illumination system that can be connected to your i-Pod and makes for a light show of swirling colors and intensities in time with the music.

No Pat! It's not for a light show, it's for adaptive camoflage.

Springfield M6 scout.
Cheap, reliable, not magazine fed, but more versatile!
Calibers are---
Upper barrel .22 LR or .22 Hornet
Lower barrel 45 Long Colt/.410 gauge 3" chamber.
Also comes in a pistol version.
Savage also sells a rifle/shotgun combo model 24, that shoots a combination of the 223 military rifle cartridge and the 12 gauge shot gun shell.
Just one other thing about the 10-22. You can get so many different add ons. It is probably the most tricked out gun that was ever made. Mine is almost a hole new gun. It has a custom laminated stock, Lilja Bull Barrel, and a Volsquartin (sp) trigger topped with a Burris 3x9x50 scope. Way more money than most people would spend.
