I was up there a few years back on vacation and didn't see any of those things, but we were mostly on the NW part of PEI.

I'll bet the section of NS near Amherst would be a good spot. I remember that as being pretty windy.

Even after thay build all those sites and use up the wind at the height of those generators they can install adjacent generators even taller to get new wind.

When I worked at a lab as a student slave (undergrad physics student) the group I worked in had a sea buoy with a submerged (bottom located) instrument package. The buoy was fitted with a wind generator to charge the batteries. Large waves from storms could put water over the generator and break the blades. Strong winds burned out the friction brake and over reved the blades till they flew apart from the centrifugal force. Still, running out to sea to change out the discharged deep cycle batts with freshly charged ones was only fun in NICE weather so a long term power source was needed that coiuld withstand the conditions at sea. A nuclear isotope heatsource powering thermo-electric generators was selected and the fun outings to swap batteries ceased.
