This picture shows a rock with one side split off and the feathers and wedges installed in holes on the next piece to come off.

So what kind of drill did you use to drill in granite, and how long did it take to split that rock?
The drill is a 1/2 Makita hammer drill. That rock took about 1/2 an hour. I am drilling the holes too deep but that is on the learning curve. [img]/forums/images/icons/grin.gif[/img]

I may make a pass around the the top side with the angle grinder and rock saw blade to make the edge a little smoother. [img]/forums/images/icons/grin.gif[/img]

They look good. Now, I'd like to order 25 square meters of the same granite, 2.5mm thick, highly polished on one side, with a bullnose edge, and be sure to cut out an area for a double sink (which I will order from you later). I'm willing to pay $2 (Canadian) per square meter. You can mail it to me.
