Egon, I'm afraid if it were left up to me, there wouldn't be much, if any, Christmas decoratons; however, I have a wife and daughters who disagree. So to make the wife happy, I got the ladder out Wednesday and put 11 strings of lights around the eaves of the house, around the front door, and on some shrubs in front of the house. Then I got all my wife's decorations down from the overhead storage in the shop. My wife put stickers on windows and decorations all over the house, then last night our younger daughter and her boyfriend came for dinner. Then he and I shot pool while my wife and daughter trimmed the tree and finished the decorations.
I'm much like Bird, the girls have been doing much of the decorating. If it were left up to me, it wouldn't get done. But I sure am glad my daughters are interested. I'm a sucker for bright lights. Especially blue and green ones. Can't say why.
