Ah heck; I'm getting confused! But what is new!

You want long term heat? Always go with thermal mass.

You want quick heat? Go with convection/radiant.

You want consistence? Go with a combination.

The heating systems will work mainly on the thermal mass but you have radiant/convection for quick surface comfort.

Matt, Think of my attempts at assistance as a tax rebate. You and the other taxpayers paid a chunk of my schooling (Viet Nam GI Bill and other programs) and a big chunk of my pay where among other things I was energy conservation officer at SUBASE San Diego. Z(Thanks folks!)

I did spend quite a lot of time digging into energy conservative architecture and compatible mechanical systems which payed off when designing my current house as I pay less per month for utilities than the typical homeowner with a house 1/3 the size of this barn. Mostly energy efficient architecture and strategies for getting the most bang for the buck as regards mechanicals and system design can for the most part can be drawn along from my physics background using the brute force and awkwardness approach where experience is lacking.

Obviously I can't speak for all taxpayers; but my wife and I thank you for your assistance with our project and service to the country. You're welcome!
