Honey bees in wood duck nest box

    Any beekeepers out there?
I would like to reclaim the nestbox for ducks, but don't want to kill the bees.
I have no equipment (or experience) for handling bees. Unless someone has a better idea, I'm thinking I'll leave them alone and just build more boxes.

Unless you can find a local beekeeper who wants another hive, I think you have the right idea.

We have the same thing happen from time to time. Sadly, the bees will die from mites if you do not treat them.

Make another duck house and watch for a season.
