Back to the Dreams of Youth. Strangely enough I can still remember the makes of some of those cars just from a headlight or taillight picture. Not a chance of me doing that with today's cars!
Reading the magazines was as close as I ever came to "Customized " car however.

Yep, Egon, just another sign we're gettin' old, I guess. [img]/forums/images/icons/frown.gif[/img] Between my own love of cars, and growing up working in my Dad's service stations and auto parts business, but the time I joined the police department in 1964, there was hardly a car on the road that I didn't recognize both make and year model. And now, I have to see the name on the back end to tell them apart.
That would only happen to old geezers. A young guy like me 67. Has them all down. There are only for kinds.

Dodge trucks
all them other little things.
