We're just starting with sheep and I bought a llama and two katadhin ewes to add to my two dorper ewes. The guys we bought them from dropped them off and we put them in the paddock I was keeping sheep in for the time being.

My fencing is not bad by any stretch, and dang if the llama didn't hop over and go wandering down the road. He ended up doing that 3 times before I put an extra wire on top where he was jumping over.

We have a heifer that is about to calve so we wanted to check her out, and when we drove the pasture, we found a gate down that gave our cattle access to an area where they can get out and two were in the DMZ.

If that weren't enough, between chasing llama down the road and cattle back into the pasture, my great pyrenees comes around with blood all over her. I don't know what she killed, but I'm guessing it's one of my chickens.

I've been chasing critters all day.
