One of my favorite tricks is to make the lines that go from the head of the compressor to the tank check valve twice as big and twice as long as was originally furnished. By doing that, my compressor gets a few more turns of the crank and a few more drops of oil on the crankshaft bearings before it has to make the high pressure needed to push that tank check valve open. Just a way of making my compressor live longer and enjoy life a little better.
