I tole paint but don't make things from scratch. I paint the things that I buy either in the craft store or from some of the local craftsmen. I also decoupage some items and then sell the finished work at craft fairs and local flea markets when I get the chance.
My dad used to make wood crafts all the time and then my Mom would paint/decorate them and sell them at craft shows for a little extra income.
Hi new to site i make all kinds of crafts,retired and am haveing a blast,all my crafts are made of recycled wood no new if possible,bird house,birdfeeders,small cases like for keep sakes like oak with plexieglass covers,mrbill.
My dad used to always make birdhouses with me and my sister because my mom collected them. I remember one year that he helped us make our own birdhouses to give her for her birthday. We got to paint them for her when we were done. I don't make many crafts now with wood, but that will always be a wonderful memory.
