    Teaching a child to cook?

I've been trying to teach my boyfriend's daughter how to cook. She is ten years old and seems to really enjoy it. Though anytime I ask her to touch raw meat in part of the cooking process she refuses, saying that it is nasty. What can I do to make it seem less "nasty"?

I hadn't even thought of that. She may actually give that a try. That seems so obvious now. Thanks for the idea. I'll be sure to give that a try, hopefully I can get her to wear the gloves and help me with breading the chicken or marinading it.
