    Make Ahead Dinners

I just started a new job and what I am doing is making dinner in the morning, making plates, wrapping them in saran wrap and putting them in the fridge so all they have to do is heat it in the microwave. Does anyone have any ideas on what would be good to make ahead like that?

I have a very large freezer which I use to hold many of my make ahead meals. I have 4 large cooking days every month and I make Lasagna, macaroni and cheese, scalloped potatoes, chicken and dumplings, etc. I divide the cooking of meals based on like ingredients. After it's cooked and cooled, I put straight into single serve containers and in the freezer. Hope this helps.

You are making full meals in the mornings? I would almost just use a slow cooker and let things cook throughout the day. You can also make big meals and then have leftovers from time to time. How about lasagna or pulled pork sandwiches?
