    Training an older dog

We have a four year old pit bull that we have had since she was six weeks old but we have never spent a lot of time trying to train her. She usually listens to basic commands like sit or stay and down but she isn't great on the leash. We would like to be able to take her more places with us. Is it too late to try and train her now?

I don't think its too late to start. Just keep working with her. I think it will come if you work with her every day. I would start with 1 trick and then when she masters it you can do another trick with her. Good luck!
