How do I get my 10 year old daughter to effectively deal with a girl that just doesn't like my daughter, and feels the need to tell her about it just about every day?
Tell your daughter to turn the other cheek. Don't let it bother her and hopefully the girl will just stop. I bet the bully gets a rise out of seeing your daughter upset. I've been here with my daughter too. I told her to kill her with kindness.
I would tell her just to flat out ignore her. Don't even look at her when she speaks and pretend she doesn't exsist. If we taught our kids more skills like this there would be a whole lot less drama especially between little girls when they get in middle school and high school.
Simplegal said it best, ignore her altogether. If there's one thing people of all ages don't like, it's the unknown. And if you don't show your emotions, they won't know what they are or how to deal with you.
