It wasn't so much flavor difference as it was storage space considerations that led us to can our green beans. But I think the canned ones taste very good.
My wife usually cans our beans, but every now and then will freeze some. She said she thinks freezing is easier. To me, the taste is about the same. The wife says the frozen ones taste more like they are fresh from the garden.
