Does anyone have any good recipes for homemade salad dressings? We are trying to get away from processed foods and we eat a LOT of salads.

We just take oil and vinegar and mix them up for our own Italian like dressing - I add a touch of Mrs. Dash to it too. Have you tried the packets of dressing (powders) that you add your own items to make dressing?
My wife makes a lot of Hidden Family Valley dressings. I bet you can google salad dressings and you can find some great recipes. I like Kraft dressing the best but Hidden Valley comes second.
I always make my own dressing. My husband's favorite is olive oil, red wine or champagne vinegar, salt, pepper, dijon mustard, and whatever fresh herbs I have at the time (Italian parsley, basil, etc.) Basically, your ratio should be two to one on the oil and vinegar and then everything else is to taste.
Thanks for the ideas guys. I don't know why but that's just something we have always bought at the store and we are trying to get healthier even if it's just small steps.
