Doing your hobby

Do you manage to allot enough time to do your hobbies? Do you think doing your hobbies is so important as doing your work and/or household chores?

With so much always to do around the home, it's hard to keep up with hobbies. They can be a nice way to relax instead of sitting in front of the tube though and hobbies can be money makers as well.

My hobby is hiking. I love being outdoors, and I make sure that I make time for long walks. We have great nature trails where I live, so that helps.

I agree that hobbies can be money makers. If writing were your hobby, you could make money writing articles and/or short stories and submitting them to magazines which accept content from outside contributors.
