    Planter Boxes

I live in the city, but am missing my garden. So this year I used planter boxes on my balcony for the items I use the most. I planted onions, green peppers, banana peppers, cherry tomatoes, and regualr. I put 4 plants in each planter box and watered them every other day from the bottom up. They all grew about 3 foot. My peppers grew to about plum size and the banana peppers about 5 inches. I did not have a single tomato on my huge plants. Anyone know why these are so little and no tomatoes? And everything flowered beautifully.

Was the container for your cherry tomatoes fairly large? Tomatoes, even of the cherry variety, need room for their extensive root system; also, don't forget to add some fertilizer to them.
