    weird animals

I've recently been seeing news articles about an increase of sightings of what some people call a chupacabra, which means goat sucker (although they kill other types of livestock as well). They seem to be the size of a medium size possum/dog like critter with no/very little hair. Have you spotted any weird looking animals in your area lately?

I haven't seen anything like that - sounds weird looking if it doesn't have any hair. Most of the animals around here are just your typical small forest animals.

The only thing that is around where I live is what they called "Hogzilla". I don't believe that there is a monster out there that sucks the blood of other animals, I think it is a regular animal and people are just hysterical.

I have lived in Chile, South America for a number of years and some time ago we had an attack from what they called the "chupacabra". No one ever saw it, but it would attack a herd of animals and leave a number of them dead just by sucking their blood. The next morning the owners would find them on the ground with a little hole in their neck area. The attacks finally stopped on their own and we've not had anymore problems. It made us wonder if it wasn't a person doing it and draining the blood into something instead of an animal.

I read about someone shooting an animal they claimed was a chupacabra. Turned out it was a coyote with a bad case of mange.

I've never heard of this particulalr animal, but over the summer one of my neighbors got into trouble for having a 16 foot long Python snake. That was the strangest animal I'v ever seen.

I have never heard of this animal before either but I was sitting here talking to a friend with Cuban heritage and she said she always thought that the chupacabra was an old South American myth. Now you have my interest peaked I think I will do a google search.
