We were driving home last weekend and it was dusk. I told my husband to slow down their was something in the road. When it looked up I knew it was a fox. Weird though becuase in the 25 years we have lived here I have never seen one!

My parents live out in the country in New Mexico and my dad had two or three foxes that would come into their yard every night and he would feed them. It got to the place that he would go outside and call them and they would come down out of the woods. It was really neat.
My parents also have them around their house. They don't feed or call them like yours heavensent. My dad really does not enjoy having them around the animals on our farm. I can hear them at night though.
I've never seen one up close and personal yet, but I'd love to. If you can domesticate them, I think they'd be a really cool pet. I would just have to convince my wife.
