    Irrigation and trees

I have fruit trees lining the east and north sides of my property, and was wondering what the best type of irrigation I can have for them would be. I'm thinking about gray water from my washer and shower.

It is OK to use gray water to irrigate decorative plants, but I don't think I will use it to water fruit trees or other plants for consumption. But it's just me.

I think it would be a great idea. Your fruit trees will benefit from the gray water and the gray water would not be wasted. The roots will not suck the impurities. Only the water.

You maybe right, but I am not so sure about that. There is much information about waste water garden available on the net, and I have never found a waste water garden where plants for consumption are grown.
