We cut a lot of firewood and we are thinking of selling it for some extra money. Does anyone know if you have to have some kind of permit to do this? Would we have to claim the money we made on our taxes?

The permit would depend upon your location, check your local laws.
The income would be taxable less any applicable expenses.
