My cat is driving me crazy with all the hacking he has been doing. I don't know why all of a sudden he is trying to hack up hairballs but it's yuk. Anyone know of any hairball remedy?

Seems like somebody once told be that a little butter on your finger so the cat will lick it off will help. I really don't know much about cats though.... I'm a dog owner, can't have cats with dogs like this.Originally Posted by Dantheman
I buy cat food that reduces hair balls. Since she has been eating it I have only had to clean up 1 hair ball. I also have been brushing her every night, with both it has helped greatly.
