Mice! I should say dead mice

My cat is an awesome hunter and for that I am glad, but I am sick of the mouse heads on the floor in the kitchen in the morning. It seems that when the weather starts to get cooler out, the mice find a way into the basement and then my cat gets them.

Are you cats good hunters?

I don't have a cat but we don't have a problem with mice either. I would probably freak out if I found a mouse head on the kitchen floor. My dog used to bring home small animal carcasses but he at least left them out in the yard.
