I have had the worse headache for the last week and I think it might be something to do with the cats. They are indoors all the time and when I pet them my eyes get itchy. I can't get rid of this headache either.
Could I be getting allergic to them?

Itchy eyes are a good indication of an allergy. Get yourself some over the counter allergy medicine and see if it gets better. If it does, you'll have your answer for sure. After that you only have a few choices - take OTC medicine all the time, get rid of your cats, or put up with it and wash your hands a lot. I am allergic to my pets, but I can survive as along as I am diligent about washing my hands after I touch them.
To them, probably not, but they might be getting into something outside that ends up on them. You'll have to go through a trial and error to see if it's them. Also could be flea spray or anything you put on them.
