    Kitchen sink... drip, drip, drip.

I've got a Delta kitchen faucet that won't stop dripping. Single handle type.
Picked up the kit at Home Depot and replaced everything inside. Washers, springs, O rings, ball thing and such.
When I run hot water through the faucet it stops if you have the handle in the right position. Cold water continues to drip no mater what I do.
Have used two kits now in case something was bad on the first one.
Any thoughts? Faucet is 18 years old. Time to replace? Any recommendations?

They are not hard to change out other than standing on your head under the sink. The last one I got came with a special wrench to make it easier.

The repair kits from HD usually aren't worth a hill of beans. I used to make a lot of faucet repairs for hire and I made sure to purchase only brand name parts or I'd be back in short time to do it again. Worse than off brand repair parts is the name brand faucets they sell that you can't get the correct repair parts for in a few years. I'd rather go to a plumbing supply house and pay a little extra and know I'll still be able to repair it in 15 years.

Well I finally got a round to it. Tried two Home Depot repair kits and they didn't work with a hoot. Picked up the Delta repair kit and a new ball for it, about 20 bucks. Did the trick.

Your kitchen needs same importance as you pay to your other living rooms. In order to organize, kitchen cabinets helps a lot but also adds a lot in grooming your kitchen.
