    Teaching wife to fly fish

I've been a fly fisherman for years. My wife has shown an interest in learning it. I think she'd like it, but do you think this is something to teach your spouse, or would classes be better for her? (and me!)

Depends on you and your spouse but for me, I would go with the classes.

Speaking as a wife we would want to learn from our husbands but for a lot of us it's better if we don't. If you do teach her it's good to know how she learns, whether by being shown (wants to know every step and how to do it right) or by doing (will want to get on with it even if it's not totally right how it's being done). And of course be patient.
