How often do you renovate your house? Do you wait for something in the house to look bad before renovating it or you renovate it on regular basis, like say a yearly renovation?

Some projects are ongoing and get done yearly such as a good power washing in the spring. Once that is done, you get a chance to see where you need to concentrate your efforts on, such as exterior painting, or landscape work. Seems like if you keep up on this and maintenance, the upkeep doesn’t get too far ahead of you.
Here is what we do to sort of keep things fresh... We GET OUR HOUSE READY FOR SALE once a year. Yes, we do all the stuff both large and small that we would do if we were going to put the house on the market. of course we DON'T put the house on the market, but instead we get to live in it with all those upgrades and improvements.

We should renovate our home every 15 to 20 years.
If the number of years comes near to 15 when it was last renovated then its time to renovate or built.
There are certain areas including Bathrooms, Kitchens, Windows & Laundry Rooms that requires renovating.
