    Don't Have a Green Thumb

I have tired so many times to just keep a few simple house and patio plants alive, but I always end up killing them. If they start growing well, then they get too tall. When I trim them, they never grow their blooms back. If I don't trim them, usually the wind will blow them over during a freak storm and then they die. If my plants survive all of that, I will at some point forget to water them and then they really die (or I water them too much).

Is there anyone else out there who likes plants, but can't keep them alive to save their life?
Nothing like good old fashioned home cookin .....

Sorry to read your experience with planting. Gardening takes some dedication on your part and you could read some gardening magazines or articles in the internet on how to properly take care of the plants.
